Miss Michigan High School America Pageant
November 13-15, 2026
Pageant Weekend
As much as possible, we are aiming to run our state pageant very similar to the national pageant so that the winners will be prepared for that experience. Please try not toto spend a lot of money. These areas are intended to be fun for all.

Registration & Orientation
Dress to impress for our Red Carpet Orientation! There will be a step and repeat where contestants can take photos while meeting the other girls. Outfits can be cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or something fun.
Gift Exchange
During orientation we will do a gift exchange. Each contestant is to bring TWO gifts where they will exchange it and receive TWO gifts. Gifts will be grouped by Jr and Sr Division and should appropriate for any girl within that age bracket. (K-5, and 9-College). Gifts should be under $15. You do not have to bring a gift for the current queens or for every girl in the pageant. You will simply bring TWO gifts.

PJ Party
Saturday night we will have a PJ Party hosted by our current queens. There will be a DJ, and photo area. There will also be an assortment of desserts. Be be sure the girls have dinner in advance. Girls are to wear age appropriate pajama's. There will be several awards given out at the PJ Party including best pjs, pageant spirit award and social media award
Read to Lead
Miss Michigan High School America is proud to partner with our local community through our annual service initiative. This year, contestants are asked to bring two new or gently used books to orientation as part of our Read to Lead Book Drive.

During pageant weekend, our queens will come together to write personalized notes of encouragement to be tucked inside each donated book before delivery to children in need across Michigan. From our youngest contestants to our collegiate queens, every girl plays a role in spreading literacy, hope, and kindness to a child who needs it most.

People's Choice
There will be People's Choice voting for each contestant. People's choice voting will be online starting one week prior to the pageant. The contestant who wins people's choice will be awarded on stage with a very special Prize. If there is a preliminary competition, the people's choice winner will automatically advance into the finals regardless of scores. If there are not enough contestants to have a "top court"- people's choice will receive a cash award!
Pageant Tickets
Pageant tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are $25 each for everyone over the age of 3. Please bring cash for tickets. Visiting royalty from the MHSA pageant system will be able to watch the pageant for free. However, their chaperone will need a ticket. Tickets are CASH only at the door or ordered in advance through the contestant.
